Product issues and written coverage
WARRANTY AND PRODUCT ISSUE POLICY.
Effective August 12, 2026. Stop using a product immediately if a defect or safety issue is suspected. This policy does not reduce any mandatory warranty, product-liability, recall, refund, repair, replacement, or other right that applicable law makes non-waivable.
1. Coverage source
A voluntary written warranty applies only if the exact product listing or a separate written document identifies the warrantor, covered product, duration, scope, exclusions, and remedy. Supplier or manufacturer coverage is provided by that named warrantor. Ryvex Mods does not create an additional voluntary warranty through advertising, support conversation, or this policy, and does not represent that an individual unit was independently inspected, tested, or professionally reviewed before sale unless the exact listing states it.
2. Mandatory legal rights
Some locations provide implied warranties or statutory remedies that cannot be disclaimed or shortened. Those rights apply according to their terms. An as-is statement does not eliminate liability or mandatory remedies for a dangerously defective product where the law does not permit that result.
3. Immediate stop-use duty
Stop riding, charging, installing, testing, or energizing a suspect product. Isolate electrical hazards only if it is safe to do so. Do not recreate a failure for video, continue using a leaking brake, ride on a damaged wheel, or disassemble evidence unless instructed for immediate safety.
4. Notice and evidence
Provide the order number, serial or batch markings, bike make, model, year, modifications, installer details, installation date, mileage or hours, clear photos and video, symptoms, warnings, measurements, torque or setup records, and the complete event timeline. Keep the product, hardware, packaging, instructions, labels, and related damaged components.
5. Inspection and testing
Ryvex Mods or the named warrantor may request photographs, remote checks, return inspection, nondestructive or destructive testing, installer records, or an independent assessment. Do not ship a battery, chemical, contaminated part, or other regulated material without written shipping instructions.
6. Possible exclusions
To the extent lawful and stated by the applicable warrantor, voluntary coverage may exclude crash or impact damage; racing or stunt use; abuse; corrosion; wear; contamination; overheating; incorrect fluid; wrong voltage or polarity; improper torque, routing, maintenance, storage, installation, modification, combination, or fitment; removed labels; counterfeit components; and continued use after warning signs.
7. Wear and service items
Pads, rotors, tires, bearings, chains, sprockets, seals, fluids, finishes, wraps, decals, fasteners, and similar service items naturally change with use and environment. Ordinary wear is not itself a defect, but premature or unsafe behavior should still be reported and will be evaluated under applicable rights and any written coverage.
8. Available remedies
A remedy may include instructions, inspection, repair, replacement, refund, price reduction, stop-use notice, or other corrective action depending on the warrantor, facts, stock, law, and safety assessment. No remedy is promised before review. Where law permits the warrantor to choose the remedy, that choice controls.
9. Labor and consequential costs
Unless an express written warranty or mandatory law states otherwise, voluntary coverage does not include diagnosis, removal, installation, towing, recovery, travel, lodging, rental, downtime, lost use, lost revenue, damage to unrelated parts, or expedited shipping. Obtain written authorization before incurring a cost you expect another party to pay.
10. Shipping and returns
A return authorization and correct address are required. Packaging, carrier, hazmat, customs, and insurance instructions must be followed. Unauthorized or unsafe shipments may be refused. Responsibility for shipping costs follows the written warranty, confirmed seller error, and applicable law.
11. Replacement parts
A replacement may be new, functionally equivalent, or refurbished only where lawful and disclosed. Replacement does not restart a coverage period unless the applicable written warranty or law says it does. Install and inspect replacements as carefully as the original product.
12. Recalls and corrective action
A safety investigation is separate from the voluntary no-return rule or a voluntary warranty. Follow every stop-use, correction, repair, refund, replacement, disposal, or recall instruction. Ryvex Mods will not use this policy to avoid a mandatory product-safety report or corrective-action duty.
13. Fraud and preservation
False claims, altered evidence, swapped products, removed batch marks, undisclosed crashes, or intentional damage may be denied and reported where lawful. Honest uncertainty is not fraud. Preserve evidence because destruction can prevent a fair safety or warranty evaluation.
14. How to submit
Use the Contact page with the subject Product issue. If there is an immediate danger, fire, injury, crash, or regulator notice, state that clearly at the beginning. This channel is not emergency service; contact emergency services or the appropriate safety authority when necessary.
